A few weeks ago, I opened my mailbox and saw a handwritten envelope with writing that I immediately recognized. My dear 88-year-old grandmother sent me a Christmas card! Her hands are not as cooperative as they were in years past, and I cannot recall the last time that I got a handwritten note from her. I cried! The card meant so much to me!

I ran across this article from marthastewart.com today, and my mind went crazy coming up with ideas to preserve my loved ones' handwriting. I will definitely try some of these ideas this year using the handwriting of my favorite people.
